Terms & Conditions

Thank you for being a Regular at Slant of Light Books! These terms explain how our loyalty program ("Slant of Light Regulars," the "Program") works. By enrolling, you agree to these terms.

1. Enrollment

  • Membership is free. To join, provide your name and email address in store.

  • You must be at least [16/18] years old and provide a valid email address.

  • One membership per person. Memberships are personal to you and may not be sold, shared, or transferred.

2. Earning punches

  • You earn one punch for each qualifying book you purchase.

  • Qualifying books include new books (as designated in our Point of Sale system) ordered in store, custom orders, and online purchases. Non-book items, gift cards, and services do not earn punches. Neither do used books.

  • Punches are added to your account after your order is paid. Returned or refunded books will have their punches removed.

3. Earning a reward

  • When you reach 10 punches, you earn one free book reward

  • Your punch count then resets and begins again toward your next reward.

4. Redeeming a reward

  • A reward may be redeemed for one qualifying book of your choice, up to $25 in value. If the book you choose is priced above $25, the reward applies [$25] toward its price and you pay the difference.

  • Only one reward may be applied per book, and rewards apply to the specific book selected at the time of purchase.

  • Rewards have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash or store credit, and cannot be combined with certain other discounts or promotions.

  • Rewards are redeemed in store. They cannot be redeemed online. If a purchase used to redeem a reward is returned, the reward may be forfeited or reinstated at our discretion.

5. Account & expiration

  • You can ask a staff member about your current punch and reward balance at any time.

  • Punches and unredeemed rewards do not expire.

  • We may remove punches or rewards obtained through error, fraud, or abuse.

6. Privacy

  • We collect your name and email to operate the Program and, if you opt in, to send you marketing communications. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time. Your information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7. Changes & termination

  • We may modify, suspend, or end the Program, or change these terms, at any time. Material changes will be posted on our terms and conditions web page. Continued participation after changes means you accept the updated terms.

  • We may cancel a membership that violates these terms or is used fraudulently.
