In 2008, Rebecca Plotnick found herself laid off and out of a job. A self-taught photographer, she decided to create an Etsy shop featuring her work and quickly discovered that her photographs of Paris were especially popular with her customers. Inspired by this, Rebecca packed her camera and headed to the City of Light in 2009. She roamed the cobblestone streets, learning from locals, snapping photos of landmarks and daily activities, and immersing herself in the sights and sounds of the city. Along the way, she began learning the French language and became captivated by the culture that speaks it.

After returning home, Rebecca launched a successful online photography print shop, featuring stunning images of Parisian streets, landmarks, and everyday moments. In 2013, she packed up her life and embarked on a two-year nomadic journey between the U.S. and France.

Everyday Parisian was founded in 2016, driven by Rebecca’s desire to bring the French lifestyle into American homes and create a community with a shared love for Paris. The blog has grown to offer travel tips, fashion inspiration, French lifestyle advice, and much more. Every Sunday, readers from around the world join Rebecca with coffee and croissants for “Links I Love,” a collection of her favorite articles on Parisian news, recipes, fashion, health, and well-being.

Today, Rebecca wears many hats: entrepreneur, photographer, blogger, avid home baker, and world traveler. She adores her dog Henri and runs The Print Shop full-time while sharing insider tips for living like a Parisian with her 50,000-strong community.
